Guilty Pleasures Part Forty-One -- Maria's Had Enough of this Crazy Nonsense!

I took Guilty Pleasures away from Dad this week because I've had enough of this crazy nonsense! I am not a happy camper right now! I just came home from the hospital and I'm going to have to live on ice cream, pudding and soup. Why, you ask? Because I had surgery and boy, am I mad! Let's see what my Dad has to say!

Maria, I'm not sure that I want to say too much, because if you're mad already, I don't want to make you any madder! But I will help you find some good songs for this contest, if you'd like.

This first song's title says it all, because:

Since I can't have anything solid for a while, I might have to have one of these:

And since I can't eat some things, I'm actually feeling pretty:

Dad, what are some other songs that might work for this?

Well, let's think about this, Maria. You're in a bad mood about this, right?

You figured that out, huh Dad? Yes, I'm not happy right now.

Okay, when I get angry I try to pick a song that makes me happy. Is there a song that makes you happy?

Well, this one always makes me happy:

Dad, do you think Gino has a shirt like those? I'll bet he does. Anyway, this one makes me happy, too:

I'm feeling a little better now. People should vote for their favorite. And one more thing, Dad --

What's that, Maria?

Go get me one of those black cows, would ya!

Maria is Confused About Politics

I'm back! And as you can see in our wonderful title that for some reason I am very confused about politics. It doesn't make any sense -- people are cheating at who they vote for!

I thought America was fair, but apparently it isn't all the time. Like for instance, everyone is making votes that don't count, count. I mean, what's the point of that? How do people know that so-and-so will be a better leader? It doesn't make any sense.

But since I don't know much about politics, I'd rather talk about what I do like (or what I don't like). And as you can see in the picture, it is our wonderful Susan B. Anthony, who I am doing a report on for school. And fortunately, things have changed since she was alive. But also, women are voting but some are voting unfairly (as well as some men).

Anyways, back to the fact that WE HAVE A NEW CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that you might have already read this on my dad's blog (Mr. Dilettante), but I want to talk about what I like about it! First, it has an awesome drink stand! You press a button that says "push," and it makes a small sound and pops up, plus it has three power outlets, two in the front and one in the back! That's great for plugging in portable video games! It makes me think about this song!

And now for my ending joke. You know how much you like my ending jokes, right? Right? Tell me, people!

The ending joke is: what is the only authority in music more important than the teacher? The musical staff!
